Einzelne b\u00f6sartige Mesothelzellen zeigen einen Rand von unregelm\u00e4\u00dfigem, weniger dichtem Zytoplasma (Ektoplasma), der das dichte Zytoplasma um den Kern (Endoplasma) herum umgibt.<\/p>\n

Bei st\u00e4rkerer Vergr\u00f6\u00dferung best\u00e4tigt die hohe Kern\/Plasma-Relation bei unterschiedlicher Zellkerngr\u00f6\u00dfe und gelegentlicher Mehrkernigkeit die B\u00f6sartigkeit dieser Zellen. Differenzialdiagnosen umfassen das Adenokarzinom und das Mesotheliom.
\nFeinmikroskopische Merkmale der peripheren Zellmembranen und interzellul\u00e4ren Fenster k\u00f6nnen Hinweise auf ein Mesotheliom sein.<\/p>\n
